Bosnia (September 1998)

The conditions on travel here are very difficult, but to see the last locomotives of the German class 52 in regular use is a strong reason to try to get here.

Tuzla: The depot is situated in the suburb Bukinje. The coal coming out of the mine is moving by train to the power plant over a distance of just one kilometer. The line is very short and non-spectacular, but the depot with it's repair-shop is very interesting. Best time for taking photos is the early morning.
