GermanyGüsten: Everyone knows the place for the last stand of the Mikado's of class 41. That's why Stassfurt in the 80ies became a pilgrim-goal for many steam-enthusiast, but the class 41 came here only for their last years; like the Pacific's of class 03 did in the 70ies. The plans of the services were made for class 50 - so the Mikado's were totally unchallenged. The class 50 was the main-class of Güsten. Up to 40 engines were in the rolling stock at the same time in the middle of the 70ies. In 1987 the engines of class 50 were dumped; the class 41 followed one year later...
