Frt-Hainsberg - Kipsdorf: Opened up in 1883 the narrow gauge line (750 mm) in the Weisseritz' valley is one of the most beautiful Saxonian ng-lines. Starting at Freital-Hainsberg it runs through the wild valley Rabenauer Grund via Dippoldiswalde to Kipsdorf and has a length of 26 kilometers. During the big flood- disaster in summer 2002 the line was destroyed in many parts: Several bridges were breaking down, tracks und stations were washed away by the water. Because of problems in financing and governance the rebuild of the line started very late in autumn of 2007 - more then five years after the disaster!
