Radebeul-Radeburg: The narrow gauge line Radebeul - Radeburg (750 mm, length 16.5 km), situated some kilometres north of Dresden, is not the most beautiful Saxonian narrow gauge line but one of the most varied. Starting in the heart of the small city Radebeul it runs strictly northward through the narrow Loessnitz-valley up to the Moritzburg' plain with it's nice little lakes. In the 90s there were some freight trains on this line too, but because of the bad light-conditions (locos are running chimney first to Radeburg) good shots were not easy to catch.

99.1787-3 meets a train of Dresden' tram at Weisses Ross (White Horse) crossing.   99.1791-5 has Radebeul just arrived with a long freight train from Radeburg.

99.1793-1 is rolling through Loessnitz-valley with a short freight train.   99.1791-5 at the last gradient before arriving Radebeul East station.

Night-life at Radebeul: 99.1791-5 and 99.1561-2 at the shed of Radebeul.   99.1794-9 at the Radebeul' platform next to an old socialist propaganda-poster...

Summer 1991: Because of less servicable locos Saxonian IVk 99.1561-2 came back in regular services for some weeks. Friedewald Bad.   Rest in front of the shed: 99.1561-2 in Radeburg.
