Burma (Myanmar) (February 2002)Pyuntaza: Only one engine in daily use like in Bago, but 100% more trains! Four trains are in service between Pyuntaza and Madauk, a line with a length of 30 km. The roads near the line are in a very bad condition, but the low speed of the train makes it easy to catch it. Very comfortable is a long break around high noon (3,5 h) - the right time to stay in one of the restaurants near the station of Pyuntaza...
In February 2002 YB-508 and YC-627 were seen in service here. Dumped at the depot: YB-536 and American type D-1032 (2-8-2).
