PolandWałbrzych: At the end of the 80s the depot of Wałbrzych was already dominated by diesel and electric locomotives. The less steam engines were just in use for heating the shed. My only visit here was in autumn of 1990, then class Pt47 (depot Kłodzko) was still in service and came to Wałbrzych with a last remaining passenger train. At one day of my visit the train was hauled by a diesel, so that we had to look for an alternative. Discovering typical smoke at the depot we went in and asked for a photo. The "Dysposytor" was a friendly young man and he drove the engine on the turntable by himself. After the shots of the turning Ty2-305 we also took some pictures of the dumped Ty2-390 and the monument Tkt48-119, before we went home again.
