Westpr.Kleinbahnen: At the end of the 19th century some sugar mills were erected on the Weichsel-island southeast of Gdansk. With the foundation of the Western Prussian Narrow Gauge Company the lines of the sugar mills were united and linked by new lines. The result was a network in 750 mm gauge network reaching every point on the Weichsel-island. A specialty was the unique loop Nowy Dwor Gd. - Lisewo - Kaldowo back to Nowy Dwor Gd. with a length of 104 km. Other lines were linking the loop with Nowy Staw - place of an important sugar mill - and with the coast of the Baltic Ocean. Most parts of the network were closed down in the 90s, instead of the line from Nowy Dwor Gd. to the Baltic Ocean. This 30 km long connection survived as a tourist line. Highlight is the turntable-bridge near Rybina with it's complicate opening procedure.
